About the Role

IDR, Inc. is recruiting a Business Analyst for a prominent client in Austin, Texas. The role serves as a crucial intermediary between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring precise capture and delivery of project requirements to achieve program objectives. The position entails evaluating legacy systems, documenting business needs, and aiding process enhancements in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison bridging business units and IT teams.
• Examine existing legacy systems to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements.
• Develop comprehensive business and functional requirement documents converting concepts into clear technical instructions.
• Lead process mapping exercises, create use cases, and manage project scope.
• Assist in testing efforts by preparing test cases and validating project outputs against specified requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 8 years of professional experience in a Business Analyst role.
• Demonstrated expertise in analyzing legacy systems and recommending enhancements.
• Proficient in creating Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs).
• Experienced in process mapping, use case development, and scope negotiation.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate among various stakeholders.
