Role Overview
The Business Analyst is pivotal in optimizing the systems and procedures supporting RMA’s administrative operations. You will apply your analytical capabilities and technical skill set to ensure consistent support and continuous enhancements to the administration systems. Collaborating closely with leadership and colleagues, you will pinpoint areas for process improvement, conduct in-depth business process analyses, translate requirements into actionable solutions, and assist in implementing technology enhancements that significantly benefit the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical support to the Administration team by identifying and executing automation opportunities and system refinements.
- Create and manage SQL queries, database tables, and solutions through SQL, VBA, and/or Python programming.
- Examine the system architecture, including backend data structures and stored procedures, to aid enhancements.
- Steer discussions focused on process improvements to uncover business difficulties, system flaws, and potential efficiencies.
- Convert business needs into clear requirement documentation and maintain traceability of these specifications.
- Present analytical findings, suggestions, and outcomes effectively to stakeholders and management.
- Encourage a culture focused on continuous process optimization and operational excellence.
- Develop a deep understanding of business workflows and their influence on operations.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Exceptional analytical skills paired with strong communication capabilities for clear and concise exchanges.
- Proficiency in analyzing processes and a proactive approach to challenge existing procedures and identify automation opportunities.
- Strong critical thinking aptitude to rapidly assimilate and synthesize information.
- Capability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
- Advanced expertise in Excel and/or Microsoft Access.
- Practical experience with SQL, VBA, Python, or R programming languages.
- An undergraduate degree in business, mathematics, statistics, or computer science is required.
- At least two years of experience in business process analysis.
