The Opportunity

Vitaco Group is seeking a skilled and motivated Team Leader to oversee Day Shift operations on the Bar Line. Reporting directly to the Line Manager, you will lead a team of machine operators to ensure production is carried out safely, efficiently, and upholds the highest quality standards in a dynamic FMCG setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute production plans while consistently maintaining superior quality, hygiene, and compliance.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members to enhance capability, accountability, and engagement.
  • Spot opportunities for continuous improvement and implement effective practical solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Planning, Quality, Engineering, and People & Culture to ensure seamless operations.
  • Support audit preparations and ensure adherence to both internal and external regulations.

Work Schedule

  • 45 hours per week.
  • Includes working 1 Saturday each month.

You are a confident, hands-on leader who excels in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys cultivating high-performing teams.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrated leadership in FMCG or manufacturing environments, with 3 to 5 years preferred.
  • Strong emphasis on safety, quality, and meeting production targets.
  • Excellent coaching capabilities and people leadership skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with continuous improvement focus.
  • Experience managing production targets, KPIs, and working within tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication, organizational, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Advantageous to have experience with ERP systems such as Navision or 3WS.
  • Relevant trade or industry qualifications are beneficial.
