Barista

Position Overview

This role is focused on crafting memorable experiences for guests beyond just serving food and beverages. The Barista acts as a Guest Service Expert, taking initiative to provide a comprehensive range of services to ensure each guest enjoys their meal. Duties include setting tables, maintaining communication with the kitchen, serving and interacting with guests, and keeping work areas and supplies clean.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

The position requires prolonged periods of standing, sitting, or walking, sometimes over uneven or slippery surfaces. Responsibilities involve managing the menu, verifying information visually, and physically handling items weighing up to 25 pounds independently or up to 50 pounds with assistance. Tasks may also involve bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
• Less than one year of relevant work experience
• No supervisory experience required
• No license or certification necessary
