Unseen Boutique Hotel, located in Assagao, North Goa, is India’s first coffee-centric boutique hotel combining hospitality, specialty coffee, design, food, culture, and immersive experiences. Within this unique space sits Uncultured, a spirit-oriented cocktail bar crafted to become one of Goa’s most admired independent drinking venues. Role Overview

The position requires an experienced Bar Manager with a deep understanding of contemporary cocktail culture, preferably with a background in premium, independent bars rather than traditional hotel settings. The successful candidate will have experience developing cocktail programs, leading bar teams, shaping guest experiences, working with premium spirit brands, and cultivating a loyal customer community.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operational management of the bar.
• Recruit and lead a skilled team of bartenders.
• Design innovative, seasonal, and spirit-forward cocktail menus.
• Ensure exemplary guest experience and uphold service quality standards.
• Drive sales, monitor profitability, and optimize the menu.
• Manage inventory control, ordering processes, cost management, and minimization of wastage.
• Maintain strong partnerships with premium liquor brands and distributors.
• Organize guest bartender shifts, bar takeovers, tasting sessions, and collaborative events.
• Coordinate with the marketing team to develop experiences that boost community engagement and social media visibility.
• Ensure full compliance with hygiene, safety, and licensing requirements.
• Train, mentor, and continually enhance the skills of bar staff.

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Between 4 and 8+ years in premium cocktail bar environments.
• Prior leadership experience managing an independent craft cocktail bar is highly desirable.
• Comprehensive knowledge of classic cocktails, modern mixology, and premium spirits including whisky, agave-based spirits, gin, rum, vermouth, and aperitifs.
• Expertise in contemporary cocktail preparation techniques.
• Strong competency in beverage costing, inventory oversight, and bar profitability management.
• Proven ability to lead teams and uphold superior service standards.
• A passion for hospitality, design, culture, and crafting exceptional guest experiences.
