About the Role
Join a diverse and inclusive team at a prestigious hospitality venue, where your passion for service will find a welcoming place. As a Banquet Attendant, you will play a key role in setting up and executing service for meals and events, ensuring top-quality guest experiences in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently prepare and service breakfast, lunch, and dinner setups.
- Organize and prepare all equipment and back-of-house requirements for events.
- Demonstrate knowledge of beverage service sequence and deliver impeccable canapés and cocktail service.
- Skillfully brew coffee using manual techniques and machines.
- Understand and apply fundamental food and beverage banquet knowledge.
- Accurately interpret food and beverage event requirements (BEOs).
- Lead effective operational briefings for casual staff teams, managing up to 10 members.
- Comply fully with Marina Bay Sands operational standards and policies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Secondary education is preferable.
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service or guest contact roles, preferably within hospitality.
- Capability to lead by example with integrity and honesty.
- Commitment to exceeding guest expectations consistently.
- Analytical skills to assess and enhance processes and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills for resolving issues and engaging with guests and staff.
- Adaptability to varied working environments and diverse teams.
- Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays.
- Physical ability to stand for up to 8 hours during shifts.
