Associate Professional Development Designer

Role Overview

This position supports the development of high-quality professional learning resources designed to help educators effectively use technology in their classrooms. The Associate Professional Development Designer combines expertise in instructional design, content creation, editing, and project management to produce engaging materials for teachers and administrators worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Revise, edit, and update professional development outlines, training resources, and presentation materials.
• Design and format presentations using Google Slides, ensuring visual consistency and adherence to established standards.
• Review content meticulously for clarity, accuracy, grammar, formatting, and overall quality.
• Incorporate feedback from various stakeholders to enhance existing educational resources and ensure alignment with educator requirements.
• Assist in developing new learning materials, resources, and training content as needed.
• Organize and maintain professional development resources to keep content current, accessible, and user-friendly.
• Collaborate with marketing to support creation of communication and promotional materials related to professional development.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently, meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards.
• Work closely with internal experts and educators to understand needs and continuously improve educational resources.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in K-12 education.
• Prior experience delivering professional development or educator training programs.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration.
• Strong organizational skills with the capability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
• Quick learner of new tools, processes, and educational technologies.
• Passionate about enhancing education through innovative technology solutions.
• Proficient in Google Docs and Google Slides.
• Ability to develop clear, engaging, and visually coherent instructional content.
