Belles Hot Chicken Adelaide is seeking an Assistant Venue Manager to help run one of its busiest restaurants. This is a great fit for someone currently working as a Duty Manager, Team Leader, or an up-and-coming hospitality leader who is ready to move into a bigger role. Role Overview

In this position, you will partner with the Venue Manager and wider leadership team to keep service running smoothly, maintain high standards, and support the team throughout busy shifts. The role calls for someone who can lead from the floor, coach staff, and help the venue stay organised and upbeat even during peak service.

Key Duties

• Run shifts and help establish the pace and tone for service.
• Guide, support, and develop front-of-house team members.
• Coordinate bookings, walk-ins, and overall service flow.
• Assist with rostering, stock management, ordering, and daily administration.
• Respond to guest concerns and feedback in a calm, professional manner.
• Help uphold strong standards in service, product quality, presentation, and compliance.
• Take charge when the Venue Manager is unavailable.
• Contribute ideas that improve guest experience and venue results.

What They’re Looking For

The ideal candidate has 1 to 2 years of experience in a senior team, Duty Manager, or leadership position. You should be composed under pressure, confident in a busy service environment, and genuinely passionate about hospitality, guests, and team culture. Strong communication, organisation, and hands-on leadership are important, along with the ability to maintain standards while keeping the atmosphere positive and fun.
