The role centers around supporting the Advisory Business through development and implementation of effective policies and guidance that ensure compliance and drive excellence in risk management globally.
Responsibilities
You will play a key role in shaping and maintaining fit-for-purpose risk policies and guidance materials that facilitate consistent decision-making within the Advisory practices worldwide. This involves creating innovative and engaging formats to communicate complex policy topics to the Advisory Risk community, as part of the Global Quality & Risk Management (GQ&RM) Policies & Guidance team, providing critical insights from the Advisory perspective.
Requirements
- Possess at least three years of experience in risk management, compliance, or related fields, including familiarity with global programs and project settings.
- Demonstrated detailed understanding of KPMG’s internal GQ&RM policies and processes.
- Hold a Master’s degree in Business, Law or a closely related field, or have equivalent professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of both Advisory-specific and broader risk management frameworks and processes.
- Deep understanding of KPMG’s Advisory business environment, its strategic aims, risks, and growth potential from a global perspective.
- Proven skills in policy development, governance, conceptualization, and effective communication within risk management.
- Curiosity and drive to innovate governance structures and evolve policy landscapes in engaging ways.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders, including Partners and Directors.
- Superior communication, facilitation, and presentation skills suited for engaging senior-level forums.
- Adeptness at structuring complex information, prioritizing multiple tasks, advancing standardization, inspiring change, and delivering quality outputs under tight deadlines.
- Motivated to create and nurture a robust global network across GQ&RM, Global Advisory, and member firm teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational capabilities, and a structured, proactive, self-starting work ethic.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools and attention to detail in producing high-quality materials.
- Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory.
