Consolidated Properties Group (CPG) is a Brisbane-based property developer renowned for delivering iconic residential and mixed-use developments throughout South East Queensland. As part of the expansion of our Development team, we seek an Assistant Development Manager to aid in the execution of several residential projects.

Role Overview

This position offers an excellent chance for a development professional eager to enhance their expertise throughout the entire project lifecycle — beginning with site sourcing and feasibility evaluation to construction execution and final settlement — collaborating closely with and providing support to our Development Managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Development Managers in managing the residential project portfolio.
• Support the Head of Residential by conducting site evaluations and performing feasibility analyses for new project opportunities.
• Manage residential sales contracts, encompassing initial agreements, purchaser variations, and settlement processes.
• Coordinate and oversee contractors, subcontractors, and consultants involved in projects.
• Participate in all project phases: initiation, planning, design finalization, construction contract completion, monitoring, through to settlement and occupancy.
• Develop and maintain master project programs and keep track of schedules.
• Identify possible risks associated with projects and assist in creating mitigation plans.
• Prepare monthly detailed progress reports, cost updates, cash flow analyses, and assist in administration of contracts and progress claims.
• Support feasibility studies, including assessing construction costs, financing strategies, and sales or rental forecasts.
• Ensure adherence to CPG’s quality assurance standards for project delivery.
• Assist in strategic stakeholder management and coordination planning.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Prior experience in residential property development, construction, or project coordination roles.
• Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail related to contracts, budgeting, and timeline management.
