About the Role

Freedom Networks offers an exciting opportunity for a full-time, permanent As-Laid Surveyor based in Washington, England. This role is pivotal in supporting infrastructure and construction initiatives by precisely collecting and documenting as-built survey data to ensure projects adhere to quality, compliance, and operational standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform on-site field surveys to capture accurate as-laid or as-built conditions using appropriate surveying tools.
• Gather precise measurements through equipment such as GPS and laser scanners.
• Produce comprehensive survey reports, technical drawings, and maintain digital records.
• Cross-check survey results against approved plans and technical specifications to assure conformity.
• Identify, document, and communicate any deviations or anomalies detected during surveys.
• Collaborate closely with project management and site teams to relay findings effectively.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards and legal regulations during all surveying tasks.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in surveying, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sectors.
• In-depth understanding of survey instruments, methodologies, and data acquisition techniques.
• Skillful in preparing accurate technical reports and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail paired with effective problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills for working alongside diverse teams.
• Knowledge of compliance and industry standards relevant to surveying.
