Overview

Sincerus is seeking a highly skilled expert to join our Training Team, supporting partner nation THAAD Firing Units. This contract role focuses on enabling units to pass Table VIII training by specializing in the evaluation, communication, and management of incoming aerial and missile threat data, emphasizing Launch Control Station (LCS) systems and air defense protocols.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter authority on assessing and communicating data about incoming enemy aerial and missile threats alongside aerial surveillance activities.
  • Provide expert instruction on various LCS components such as the Common Data Link Interface Module (CDLIM), KIV-7 Encryptor, satellite communications (SATCOM), Cisco Network switches, Data Extraction and Reduction Guide (DERG), and JREAP protocols.
  • Educate trainees on the use and significance of J-series messages within the air defense command and control framework.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot vital computer data links and networks that support early warning and tracking of threats from terrestrial to space-based sources, enabling informed situational awareness and decisive threat engagement.
  • Ensure seamless integration of systems delivering critical data that support airspace dominance, threat neutralization, and continuous air defense operations.
  • Collaborate with fellow Systems and 14H instructors to provide comprehensive, high-quality training on THAAD operational systems and procedures.

Candidate Qualifications

  • In-depth experience with THAAD Launch Control Systems, including LCS components, data link management, and network operations.
  • Sound knowledge of air defense operational procedures and technologies, including CDLIM, KIV-7 Encryptor, SATCOM, Cisco networking systems, and J-series messaging.
  • Demonstrated ability maintaining and resolving issues for computer networks critical to early detection and tracking in missile defense.
  • Proficient understanding of JREAP data communication protocols.
  • Capability to instruct and guide military personnel on the operation and upkeep of advanced THAAD systems.
  • Proven teamwork skills, working effectively with other instructors to deliver cohesive training programs.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Minimum of two years’ experience serving in a U.S. Army THAAD Battery.
  • Valid health certification and current immunizations for designated operational countries.
  • Successful background verification and possession of secret security clearance.
  • Active passport suitable for deployment.

Preferred Experience

  • Possession of Additional Skill Identifier (ASI) 6N.
  • Five years’ experience as an MOS 14H in a U.S. Army Patriot Battalion or THAAD Battery.
  • Certified previously as a Table VIII LCS Operator.
  • Operational experience as a Forward Deployed Launch Control Station Operator.
  • Background as an instructor or trainer within military systems.
