Architectural Designer

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Architectural Designer with over five years of hands-on experience in New Zealand to join a dynamic team based in Christchurch. This role involves detailed and precise production of consent and construction documentation using Revit, focusing on complex commercial and multi-unit residential building projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Create accurate and coordinated construction and consent documents for commercial and multi-unit residential developments.
• Manage several projects simultaneously while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery from design through construction phases.

Qualifications and Experience

• Formal qualification in Architecture or Architectural Studies.
• Minimum of five years working experience in a New Zealand architectural firm.
• Experience with complex projects focused on commercial and multi-unit residential sectors.
• Advanced skills in Revit software.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the New Zealand Building Code and construction practices.
• Proven ability to prepare thorough consent and construction documentation.
• Independent project management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively across teams.
