Analyst, Supplier Relations II

Job Overview

The Analyst, Supplier Relations II is responsible for conducting supplier prequalification, evaluation, and analyzing supplier data to maintain an accurate and compliant Approved Supplier List (ASL). This role plays a key part in managing supplier governance, mitigating risks, and enhancing supplier performance across the company's supply chain. The analyst works closely with HSEQ, Engineering, Operations, and Purchasing Supply Chain Management teams to gather technical and commercial information, ensuring assessments are consistent, evidence-backed, and aligned with company standards under the supervision of the Division Head, Supplier Relations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Evaluate suppliers based on prequalification standards to verify their capabilities, compliance, and capacity.
• Collect and validate all necessary supplier documentation, certificates, and compliance records to keep supplier profiles complete and current.
• Analyze supplier performance metrics such as quality, delivery, service levels, and risk factors to support sourcing and category decisions.
• Assist in supplier audits, capability assessments, and site visits to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
• Maintain and update the Approved Supplier List (ASL) within ERP and related systems to ensure data accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HSEQ, Engineering, Operations, PSCM) to obtain relevant inputs for supplier assessments.
• Generate routine performance and risk reports to aid category managers and leadership in decision-making.
• Classify goods and services by sourcing categories to enable proper segmentation.
• Segment suppliers by criticality, spending, and business impact for enhanced engagement and risk management.
• Propose process enhancements for supplier evaluation and data handling to improve transparency and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, operations management, engineering, or an equivalent field.
• 3 to 6 years of professional experience within supply chain functions.
• Proficient communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
