About the Company
A respected independent corporate advisory firm in Sydney is seeking an Analyst to join their team. The company advises a variety of clients including founders, family-owned enterprises, ASX-listed companies, family offices, and private equity investors. Role Overview
The successful candidate will become part of a cooperative advisory team, collaborating closely with seasoned Partners, Principals, and Associates throughout the entire transaction process. From the outset, Analysts will have substantial responsibilities, gain direct client engagement, participate in live deals, and benefit from continuous mentorship by experienced deal experts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution of mergers and acquisitions on both buy-side and sell-side mandates
- Develop and update financial models, conduct valuations, and perform detailed transaction analyses
- Prepare key transaction documents including Information Memoranda and presentations
- Conduct comprehensive financial, commercial, and industry research to support transactions
- Support due diligence processes, manage buyer interactions, and contribute to smooth transaction execution
Candidate Requirements
- Strong academic record
- Minimum two years' experience in Investment Banking or Corporate Advisory
- Proven expertise in financial modelling and valuation techniques
- Exceptional analytical abilities and presentation skills
- Keen attention to detail coupled with a strong passion for mergers and acquisitions
