Join Univers as an AI Value Engineering Intern to contribute to leveraging artificial intelligence for solving intricate business problems and generating tangible impacts. Univers offers the most comprehensive decarbonization platform globally, supporting clients to optimize energy management and reduce carbon emissions with robust, actionable data. Their EnOS platform integrates extensive sensor networks and renewable energy oversight for over 500 customers worldwide.

Role Summary

This internship involves partnering with clients through their AI transformation processes—understanding business priorities, pinpointing AI-driven value opportunities, and collaborating across teams to develop impactful AI solutions. Engage hands-on in the full spectrum of AI value creation: from business analysis and case development to solution delivery and quantifiable result realization. Project domains include sectors such as transport, logistics, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, and energy.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in client discovery via industry research, business model and financial analysis, and participation in workshops and meetings.
Dissect client P&Ls, processes, and KPIs to uncover value pools and improvement opportunities.
Construct problem statements, value-driver frameworks, financial models, and business cases with team support.
Analyze client and market datasets to evaluate opportunities and validate recommendations.
Convert business needs into well-defined AI use cases and prioritize potential initiatives with precise success metrics.
Collaborate with AI, product, engineering, and domain teams to assess feasibility and impact.
Contribute to creation of client proposals, presentations, and value-sharing models.
Research emerging AI technologies and industry trends to inform solution design.
Support project execution including pilots and transformation programs, coordinating cross-functional deliverables and milestones.
Develop and refine reusable AI value engineering tools, models, and templates.
Leverage AI and analytics tools for enhanced research, modeling, and content preparation.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. program in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Operations Research, Finance, or related quantitative subjects.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the capability to simplify complex problems into actionable analysis.
Comfortable handling quantitative data, building financial models, and linking KPIs to value creation.
Proficiency in modern AI, Excel, and PowerPoint essential; familiarity with SQL, Python, Power BI, or Tableau advantageous.
Strong communication skills, openness to coaching, and ability to produce structured written and presentation content.
Curious, meticulous, and eager to delve into new business and technical areas.
Prior relevant experiences like consulting, analytics, research, or competitions are helpful but not mandatory.
Fluency in English required; Mandarin proficiency is beneficial but optional.

Additional Information

Internship duration is a minimum of 3 months, ideally with 3-5 days per week commitment; full-time preferred.
Immediate start preferred.
Work location is onsite in Singapore.
