Job Overview
GIS Hub is looking to hire a part-time AI Content Moderator based in the United Arab Emirates to oversee the review and moderation of both user-generated and AI-generated content. This role aims to uphold platform policies, community guidelines, safety protocols, and legal requirements, fostering a secure, respectful, and credible digital space. Additionally, the position supports continuous enhancements in content moderation procedures and AI-driven systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully examine various forms of digital content including text, images, videos, and audio across multiple platforms.
- Identify and address violations of platform policies and community standards consistently and thoroughly.
- Document moderation decisions clearly and escalate complex or sensitive cases to relevant teams.
- Cooperate closely with Trust & Safety, Operations, Quality Assurance, Product, Legal, and AI departments to optimize moderation processes.
- Manage flagged content, handle user reports and appeals, categorize outcomes, and maintain detailed records.
- Achieve defined quality and productivity benchmarks while monitoring emerging patterns of misuse or abuse.
- Support AI-enhanced moderation workflows by validating outputs, detecting errors, annotating data as necessary, and providing relevant trend feedback.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere strictly to escalation and compliance protocols.
- Engage in continuous improvement efforts of moderation tools, documentation, training, and quality assurance.
- Apply sound judgment and emotional resilience to make consistent, professional, and empathetic decisions under operational pressures.
Candidate Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Communications, Media Studies, Psychology, Business Administration, Information Technology, Linguistics, Social Sciences, or related fields.
- In-depth knowledge of content moderation principles, community standards, and online safety frameworks.
- Strong abilities in comprehension, written communication, and accurate documentation.
- Skillful at interpreting and applying policies across diverse content types with consistent outcomes.
- Proficient analytical, critical thinking, and decisive problem-solving capabilities.
- Meticulous attention to accuracy, consistency, and quality in all moderation activities.
- Ability to professionally handle sensitive, graphic, or distressing content with confidentiality.
- Familiarity with AI-generated content, generative AI technology, and AI-supported moderation workflows is a plus.
- Experience or knowledge of data annotation, labeling, quality assurance, or review methodologies is helpful.
- Competent with Microsoft Office suite and web-based operational platforms.
- Awareness of ticketing, moderation software, CRM, or case management systems is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, capable of meeting set productivity goals.
- Effective interpersonal communication and collaboration skills across teams.
- Understanding of privacy, confidentiality, compliance, and responsible AI deployment.
