Admission Counsellor

Overview

We are seeking motivated and results-driven Admission Counsellors to guide students in selecting suitable career paths and assist them through the admission journey at Design Maniac, Pune. The role demands excellent communication skills paired with a passion for supporting student success.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise students and parents on career opportunities in Design, Animation, VFX, Interior Design, UI-UX, Digital Marketing, and related disciplines.
• Perform cold calls and generate leads by managing inquiries received via phone, walk-ins, website, social media, and educational events.
• Provide detailed information about course structure, curriculum, fee details, career prospects, and institute facilities.
• Follow up regularly with prospective students and maintain an ongoing relationship to facilitate admissions.
• Organize counseling appointments and campus tours.
• Convert student inquiries into confirmed admissions by understanding their goals and aspirations.
• Keep accurate documentation of leads, inquiries, follow-ups, and admissions using CRM software or spreadsheets.
• Collaborate with academic and marketing teams to support admission campaigns and related events.
• Engage actively in seminars, education fairs, workshops, and career guidance sessions.
• Meet monthly targets for counseling and admissions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient communication in Hindi, Marathi, and English.
• Strong interpersonal and counseling skills.
• Confidence in interacting with students and their parents.
• Familiarity with basic computer applications such as MS Excel, MS Word, and Google Sheets.
• Good listening capabilities and effective problem-solving skills.
• Positive, proactive, and target-focused attitude.
• Graduate degree in any field; fresh graduates with excellent communication skills are welcome.
• Commitment to work for a minimum period of one year.

• Experience required: 0 to 2 years.
• Employment type: Full-time position based in Pune, Maharashtra.
• Monthly salary range: INR 15,000 to 40,000.
