Job description
Position Overview
The role of Administrator and Planning Specialist is key to ensuring that all processes, procedures, and reporting are executed accurately and efficiently in the planning and administration functions. We seek a diligent, motivated professional with a proven focus on safety and teamwork, dedicated to maintaining high standards in operational planning and administration while supporting remanufacturing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective procedures and systems within planning and administration to maximize operational efficiency.
- Collect and document all Customer Service Instructions (CSI) related to remanufacturing and component rebuilds, ensuring clear traceability.
- Manage the calibration schedule for tooling, ensuring timely dispatch and return with comprehensive documentation.
- Forecast and plan stock requirements for components undergoing remanufacturing and oversee the creation of corresponding production plans.
- Facilitate weekly coordination meetings between planning and production teams to resolve technical, operational, and scheduling issues, reporting outcomes to the Reman Manager.
- Produce weekly and monthly performance reports measuring actual versus budgeted manufacturing results, labor productivity, inventory shortages, work-in-progress levels, component throughput, and KPI performance.
- Lead strategic initiatives to automate and improve the planning department’s efficiency.
- Manage archiving of quality documentation for finished components to guarantee traceability and accountability.
- Administer planning master data within the ERP system, including item parameters, bills of materials, routings, work centers, and subcontractor details for both in-house and outsourced processing.
- Ensure all activities comply with company policies and legislative health and safety standards.
- Monitor supplier and subcontractor KPIs in line with contractual agreements.
- Support the implementation of the ERP-based Quality Management System (QMS) and participate actively in developing related processes and documentation.
- Assist with Liebherr Reman Certification assessments focusing on planning and administrative functions.
Qualifications and Experience
- A university degree in production management, operations management, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years post-degree experience, particularly within a remanufacturing facility.
