Accountant / Accounts Executive

Overview

Parvimal Tours and Travels in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, is seeking an Accountant/Accounts Executive to manage daily financial records and support travel operation tasks. This role demands maintaining precise income and expense accounts along with handling ticketing and travel arrangements.

Financial Responsibilities

• Record daily income and expense transactions systematically.
• Create and manage customer invoices, receipts, and payment documentation.
• Monitor and document payments for ticketing and travel packages.
• Keep track of pending payments from customers and amounts due to suppliers.
• Manage all cash, bank, and digital transaction records efficiently.
• Perform basic reconciliation of bank statements.
• Maintain records of purchases and sales meticulously.
• Assist with GST and TDS filing and coordinate with the appointed accountant or CA.
• Organize and archive bills, vouchers, and financial documents properly.
• Prepare and provide daily, weekly, and monthly financial summaries and reports.

Travel Operations Duties

• Manage bookings of domestic and international flight tickets including new reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
• Develop travel itineraries, quotations, and varied tour packages.
• Support customers in hotel reservations, transfers, and other related travel services.
• Offer assistance with visa documentation and provide basic guidance on visa processes.
• Respond to customer inquiries by phone, WhatsApp, and in-person visits.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of customers and their bookings.

Remuneration

The monthly salary range offered for this position is INR 14,000 to INR 17,000.
