About the opportunity
Bentleys SA/NT is seeking an experienced accountant who is working toward CA or CPA membership and is ready to take the next step in their career. This role is designed as a true progression opportunity, with a clear pathway toward Senior Accountant and Management positions, supported by ongoing development to help you reach your professional goals.
What you will do
You will be part of a busy and varied accounting role, delivering customised solutions to a broad client base across multiple industries. The work is diverse, with projects that change from day to day, and you will be working alongside a high-performing team that values knowledge sharing and internal growth.
The client portfolio is wide-ranging and may include assignments in South Australia’s wine regions, support for well-known fashion brands, and visits to agribusinesses or stations in the Northern Territory.
About you
The ideal candidate has prior experience in an accounting role, preferably in public practice, and brings at least one year of accounting experience. You should be actively working toward CA or CPA qualification and have a solid understanding of accounting practices, strategies, and software.
A positive mindset, willingness to learn, and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently are important. Strong communication, relationship-building ability, professional presentation, and well-developed interpersonal skills are also expected.
Why join Bentleys SA/NT
Bentleys places strong emphasis on employee growth and provides substantial support through unlimited training resources, career development opportunities, and mentorship. The work is challenging and rewarding, with exposure to complex client assignments. The organisation also promotes an inclusive workplace culture and is proud of its Carbon Neutral accreditation.
Additional benefits include a lively social culture, study leave, CA/CPA program course fee reimbursement, flexible work arrangements, a commitment to employee wellbeing, and access to retail discounts covering groceries, fashion, travel, tech, and more.
How to apply
Applicants are asked to submit a CV and cover letter in PDF format. You may also contact the P&C team by email to request the position description or arrange a phone call. The role is based in Adelaide, Australia, and full Australian working rights are required.
