About the Role

As an Account Manager for Platforms and Commerce, you will channel your enthusiasm for sales, deep understanding of online media, and commitment to driving customer growth. You will operate with ownership, swiftly adapt to changes, and devise innovative strategies to consistently yield exceptional and incremental results for both Google and your clients. Forming trusted partnerships, you will identify business requirements and translate them into effective Google advertising solutions that help clients realize their most ambitious goals.
Within Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) division, you will work closely with leading global brands and agencies, challenging traditional perspectives and steering clients through industry transformations to achieve outstanding performance using Google’s comprehensive advertising portfolio—including Search, YouTube, and Measurement tools. This role presents a unique opportunity to sell cutting-edge technology, collaborate with executives, influence market strategies, and deliver significant impact on global enterprises and Google's growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities
- Grasp clients' business goals and define their version of success, leveraging extensive Google product expertise to apply Google advertising products through consultative sales methodologies.
- Consistently achieve or exceed Google ads revenue targets on a quarterly and annual basis, owning all product objectives for the assigned client portfolio and ensuring fulfillment of critical internal and external performance benchmarks.
- Manage enduring client relationships and foster strong connections with CXO-level stakeholders, ensuring their business goals are met and supporting success across multiple marketing objectives such as new customer acquisition, brand building, and remarketing.
- Develop a profound understanding of advertisers’ business needs and provide actionable insights into consumer behavior to inform advertising strategy.
- Stay abreast of Google’s evolving advertising ecosystem, embracing new products and cutting-edge technologies to deliver innovative and tailored solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent amount of practical experience.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in sales, business development, marketing, advertising, account management, or consulting roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience within advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media, or marketing sectors.
- Proficiency in optimizing and troubleshooting products or services related to digital advertising.
- Experience working with Google Ads, Display & Video 360, Search Ads 360, YouTube, or comparable digital advertising campaign platforms.
- A proven track record of surpassing targets and delivering outstanding client results, consistently exceeding expectations.
- Exceptional organizational skills and well-honed operational processes to maintain efficiency.
Additional Information
Applicants will have the chance to select their preferred work location between Mumbai, Maharashtra and Bengaluru, Karnataka.
