About the Internship
Manisha Mandir, a respected national social service organization established in 1988 in Lucknow, has been honored with the Rashtriya Bal Kalyan Puraskar by the Government of India. Its founder, Dr. Sarojini Agrawal, received the Rajiv Gandhi Manav Seva Award from the President of India. The organization hosts an active Inter-Generational Centre that connects senior citizens with disadvantaged and orphaned children, fostering mutual growth and learning. Additionally, Manisha Mandir identifies and addresses gaps in government and NGO social welfare programs across India through impactful initiatives.
As part of its expansion strategy, Manisha Mandir is launching the Centre for AI Empowerment and Research (CAER), a specialized technical wing integrated with an upcoming online platform designed to further the organization's social mission.
The NGO maintains an active digital presence across prominent social media channels, including its YouTube channel, Manisha Mandir Digital Bridge, and corporate website, highlighting its ongoing projects and social impact.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Act as the operational liaison between the physical campus and the evolving online platform under the supervision of the Centre Director.
- Administer and update the LearnPress/Gutenberg-based learning management system tailored to underprivileged children on NIOS tracks, volunteer training programs, and other educational courses.
- Oversee the Help Hub proximity search directory utilizing TablePress and Leaflet Maps, connecting beneficiaries to relevant government welfare schemes.
- Moderate bbPress and BuddyPress community forums, ensure data privacy adherence, and manage user-generated content effectively.
- Supervise the creation and verification of Digital Growth Passports, including management of student portfolios, assignment of Unique Identification Numbers (UINs), and QR code implementations.
- Coordinate campus infrastructure scheduling such as halls, recording studios, and Bio-Well wellness rooms through the BookingPress system.
- Manage attendance tracking for day scholars, monitor mid-day meal distributions, and handle supply-chain requisitions with automated ledger tools.
- Oversee data governance by managing online form submissions, webhook routing, and collaborating with developers to guarantee secure, error-free data integration into the Master Ledger.
- Review automated Non-Disclosure Agreements, regulate data usage policies, and enforce compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act and POCSO guidelines among volunteers.
- Monitor the Tele-Bridge triage routing system using PHQ-9 scales to facilitate smooth technical connections between rural beneficiaries and medical experts.
- Manage outreach and public relations activities, including coordinating quarterly nominations for the Dr. Sarojini Agrawal Yuwa Sewa Samman and supporting administration of the VIP Jury dashboard.
- Implement and track outreach campaigns using MailPoet newsletters and Progressive Web App push notifications, analyzing Return on Investment (ROI) metrics especially for health camp initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be available for a full-time, in-office internship.
- The internship start date must fall between July 21, 2026, and August 25, 2026.
- The internship commitment is for a duration of six months.

Qualifications and Skills Required
- Educational background including MBA (IT/Operations/Social Entrepreneurship), MCA, M.Sc (CS/IT), or MSW with advanced digital competency.
- Familiarity with WordPress dashboards, basic spreadsheet management (Google Sheets), and experience with open-source visual web components.
- Exceptional command of written and spoken formal English and Hindi, along with professional email communication skills.
- Preferred experience of 1-2 years in academic coordination, project management, or digital platform handling, though outstanding freshers will also be considered.
Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly stipend ranges from INR 11,000 to 14,000, including a fixed component of INR 10,000 to 12,000 and incentives between INR 1,000 and 2,000.
- Successful interns may receive a certificate, letter of recommendation, and potential job offer upon successful conversion to permanent employment.
- Anticipated annual salary post-conversion ranges from INR 264,000 to 300,000.
