Role Overview
This position is for an experienced Workday Prism Analytics Consultant who can design and deliver enterprise data integration and analytics solutions. The role involves connecting external financial and HR data with Workday data to build practical pipelines, meaningful insights, and scalable reporting frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop dependable ingestion pipelines that bring data from external systems such as Salesforce, legacy ERP platforms, and data warehouses into Workday Prism.
- Carry out advanced data shaping, including transformation, blending, modeling, joins, groupings, and Prism Functions.
- Build sophisticated reports, Discovery Boards, and operational dashboards using Prism Data Sources.
- Integrate Prism data into standard Workday reporting tools such as Matrix reports and Composite reports.
- Work with Finance, HR, and IT stakeholders to understand business needs and convert them into scalable technical designs.
- Advise clients on data governance, Prism security design, and recommended implementation practices.
- Set up and maintain Prism security controls with a strong focus on privacy compliance and role-based access.
- Improve pipeline efficiency and resolve issues related to data synchronization, loading, or publication.
Requirements
- An active Workday Prism Analytics certification is mandatory; applications without this credential will not be reviewed.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience working specifically with Workday Prism Analytics configuration and implementation.
- Strong understanding of Workday functional concepts and analytics-driven reporting.
- Ability to manage complex data structures and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience working across finance, HR, and IT environments.
- Knowledge of data security, access control, and compliance-aware analytics practices.
