Key Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints accurately to understand project specifications.
- Use both hand and power tools to create metal components.
- Execute welding operations employing various welding methods.
- Follow safety procedures rigorously to maintain a safe workplace.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete tasks effectively.
- Keep skills current and stay informed about industry advancements and technologies.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 2 years of experience in welding and fabrication.
- Skilled in using power and hand tools.
- Proficient in welding, especially flat position CWB with flux or metal core wire.
- Ability to read blueprints and possess mechanical knowledge necessary for fabrication.
- Experience operating machinery such as press brakes and plasma cutters.
- Understanding of manufacturing workflow and construction fundamentals.
- Knowledgeable about rigging, crane operation, and assembly practices.
