About the Role and Company

A respected engineering and fabrication company in Bradford is expanding due to increasing demand. They seek an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join their skilled team in a stable, long-term, full-time role within a busy production setting.

Key Duties

Perform MIG and TIG welding on diverse materials such as mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
Fabricate and assemble parts based on engineering drawings
Measure, mark out, and prepare materials including cutting and grinding to support fabrication tasks
Conduct inspections to ensure finished products comply with quality standards
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
Collaborate to assist the fabrication team as needed

Candidate Profile

Proven experience in welding and fabrication within an engineering or manufacturing context
Skilled at MIG and TIG welding techniques
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings effectively
Strong attention to detail with precision fabrication skills
Capable of working independently and cooperatively within a team
Dependable, motivated, and dedicated to producing top-quality work

Work Schedule

Monday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Tuesday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM
Saturday and Sunday: Off

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly pay ranging from £18 to £21, depending on experience
