Role Overview
The Website Manager position is a full-time onsite role based in Nairobi County. This person will be responsible for the overall management of Salute iWorld’s website and e-commerce platform. Core duties include maintaining accurate product listings, pricing, promotions, and inventory updates, ensuring the site’s content and layout align with brand and marketing strategies. Daily tasks involve monitoring website functionality and user behavior, liaising with marketing, retail, and IT teams for website initiatives, optimizing user experience to increase engagement and conversions, and troubleshooting technical problems. The role also includes ensuring site security and integrating e-commerce and digital marketing tools.
Qualifications
- Experience with Content Management Systems and Web Design to perform site updates and maintain brand visual standards.
- Proficiency in Web Analytics to assess site performance and user interaction data to drive improvements.
- Knowledge of E-Commerce management, including product catalog, pricing strategies, promotions, and checkout processes.
- Project Management skills to handle cross-departmental web development projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles, SEO fundamentals, and responsive web design compatibility.
- Familiarity with common CMS platforms and basic coding skills in HTML and CSS preferred.
- Background in retail, consumer electronics, or technology sectors is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills suited to a fast-moving, customer-oriented environment.
- Preferred educational backgrounds include diplomas or degrees in IT, Digital Media, Design, Marketing, or similar disciplines.
