Washroom Hygiene Technician

Role Overview

Join Rentokil Initial as a Washroom Hygiene Technician based in Leeds, serving areas including Leeds, Bradford, and Wakefield. This position offers an active, independent role with a friendly team where you manage your daily schedule while traveling to various client sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a company van or start from home to visit clients such as offices, schools, and clinics.
• Maintain hygienic environments by replacing and replenishing essential washroom products like air fresheners, eco-friendly soaps, hygiene and nappy units, and floor mats.
• Stay physically active through walking and light lifting as part of daily routine duties.
• Maintain and take full responsibility for your company vehicle, ensuring safe driving.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a full UK driving license held for at least two years with no more than six penalty points.
• Be personable, approachable, and enjoy interacting with people while delivering quality work.
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Consent to a company-funded enhanced DBS and security clearance for access to secure locations.

Compensation and Benefits

• A guaranteed basic salary starting at 26,655 annually, with potential earnings exceeding 27,500 through bonuses and commissions.
• Permanent full-time employment from Monday to Friday (40 hours per week), with no weekend or night shifts, allowing personal time during weekends.
• Working hours between 6am and 6pm providing favorable daytime shifts.
• A performance-based salary grading system enabling pay increases as skills develop, with an option to increase to 48-hour weeks for higher guaranteed pay.
• Provision of company vehicle, fuel card, uniform, and mobile phone for work purposes.
