Job Overview and Duties

This role requires strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and adherence to PSA BDP's Health, Safety & Environmental and Security policies. The candidate must promptly report unsafe conditions or unauthorized personnel in the workplace and consistently provide outstanding service to both internal and external customers.

The position involves managing inventory by accurately updating inbound, put-away, and outbound transactions manually or through the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Meeting turnaround time and accuracy targets for inventory handling is crucial. Additionally, the role includes performing regular cycle counts, stock takes, physical counts, housekeeping, and maintenance of both the warehouse and material handling equipment.

Issues encountered should be escalated to superiors, and other assigned duties must be fulfilled as required.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must have at least two years of relevant experience with a solid understanding of primary warehouse operations. Educational background should include GCE O & A Levels, A Levels, Diploma, or Degree qualifications.

A valid forklift license is mandatory. Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is expected. Familiarity with IT systems like SAP and other in-house logistics software is necessary.

Strong command of spoken and written English is required, while knowledge of Bahasa Melayu and Mandarin is considered an advantage. A good grasp of forwarding, shipping, and documentation processes is important. Effective communication and problem-solving capabilities are essential.
