Role Overview
As a Waiter/Waitress at Accor, you will deliver courteous, professional, and adaptable service aligned with Rixos performance standards. You will rotate among various Food & Beverage sub-departments or other hotel areas as assigned and undertake any additional reasonable tasks designated by management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide flexible, efficient, and friendly service consistently according to operational procedures.
- Understand all menu food and beverage items to effectively recommend pairings and upsell alternative options.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at your work area continuously.
- Handle guest inquiries politely and professionally, building rapport to foster positive customer relations.
- Monitor supplies to minimize spoilage and waste.
- Report guest complaints to supervisors promptly and ensure follow-up.
- Participate in scheduled inventory audits of operating equipment.
- Maintain punctuality, proper uniform and name tag usage, high personal hygiene, and comply with appearance guidelines.
- Uphold cooperative working relationships with colleagues and other departments.
- Comply with hotel policies, including fire, hygiene, health, safety regulations, and applicable local laws.
- Adapt to departmental changes and extend duties as required to meet business and guest needs, including potential redeployment.
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality.
- Fresher or up to 1 year of experience in a 4-5 star hotel environment.
