Role Overview
The Hosteller Hospitality Private Limited is hiring a Waiter / Steward for its property in Kannur, Kerala. This is an on-site hospitality role focused on guest service, order handling, and maintaining a smooth dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and interact with them in a courteous, professional manner.
- Share menu information, including dishes, specials, and ongoing offers or promotions.
- Record food and beverage requests accurately and pass them through correctly.
- Deliver food and drinks in line with hotel service standards.
- Keep tables arranged, clean, and ready for use throughout service.
- Check in with guests during their meal to make sure service expectations are being met.
- Respond to complaints in a calm, professional way and escalate issues when needed.
- Prepare and settle bills and payments with accuracy.
- Keep restaurant and service areas neat and hygienic.
- Follow all rules related to cleanliness, safety, and personal grooming.
Requirements
- Educational qualification of at least 10th or 12th pass; hotel management education is preferred.
- Around 2 years of experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred; trained freshers may also apply.
- Strong communication abilities, with English and Hindi considered an advantage.
- A positive, guest-focused attitude and good customer service approach.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Neat, presentable, and well-groomed appearance.
Compensation
The role offers a monthly stipend/salary in the range of INR 13,000 to INR 16,000.
