Visual Merchandiser

Job purpose

This role is focused on shaping and maintaining attractive retail spaces that communicate the brand clearly, improve the shopping experience, and contribute to sales growth. The position also ensures that visual merchandising is applied consistently across stores, while still adapting presentations to local market needs, campaigns, and business priorities.

Key responsibilities

Visual merchandising execution

• Apply brand-approved visual merchandising standards consistently across all assigned stores.
• Create and maintain window displays, in-store layouts, planograms, and promotional installations.
• Present products in a way that supports brand storytelling, seasonal themes, and major product launches.
• Keep store presentation, cleanliness, and overall visual consistency at a high level.

Brand and customer experience

• Convert the brand identity into in-store visuals that strengthen the customer journey.
• Use displays to reinforce premium positioning and brand-led storytelling.
• Partner with retail teams to ensure visual standards are upheld every day.

Commercial and sales support

• Align merchandising plans with commercial goals, sales targets, and promotional schedules.
• Place products strategically to improve sell-through, cross-selling, and impulse buying.
• Assist with store openings, store refurbishments, and re-merchandising initiatives.

Training and store support

• Train store staff on merchandising standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Visit stores regularly to audit execution and share feedback with improvement actions.
• Represent visual merchandising across the retail network.

Coordination and planning

• Work with Brand, Marketing, Retail Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
• Support seasonal campaigns, product introductions, and special retail events.
• Make sure VM guidelines and visual rollouts are implemented on time.

Reporting and compliance

• Track the quality of execution and report on compliance with visual standards.
• Record effective practices and circulate relevant visual updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure all displays follow health, safety, and operational requirements.

Qualifications and experience

• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Design, Fashion, Marketing, or a related discipline is required.
• Two to five years of retail visual merchandising experience is expected.
• Background in luxury, beauty, or fashion retail is strongly preferred.
• Experience handling visual execution across multiple stores or regions is considered an advantage.
