Role Overview

We are seeking a Video Editor for a contract position based in Boca Raton, FL. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of completing some tasks remotely. The editor will be responsible for crafting video content that supports marketing initiatives, social media campaigns, and educational materials, all while adhering to brand standards and creative directions.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and manage raw video footage efficiently.
• Edit and assemble video segments utilizing cuts, transitions, and sequencing.
• Perform audio cleanup and enhance sound quality.
• Apply color correction and grading to maintain consistent visual aesthetics.
• Integrate motion graphics, titles, and animated elements to enhance storytelling.
• Collaborate closely with creative and marketing teams to ensure alignment with objectives.
• Prepare and deliver final video files in formats optimized for various digital platforms.
• Maintain an orderly library of video assets and manage project timelines effectively.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in video production and editing, including assembling and refining footage.
• Expertise in color grading techniques to establish a coherent visual style.
• Skillful in creating motion graphics and incorporating animated graphics and text overlays.
• Proficiency with standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalents.
• Familiarity with motion graphics tools like After Effects is advantageous.
• Experience producing content for digital channels, knowledgeable about aspect ratios, codecs, and export specifications.
• Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to follow brand guidelines meticulously.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
• Educational background or training in film, media, communications, or related disciplines, or comparable professional experience.
