Role Summary
The Vice President of Supply Chain will oversee the end-to-end material management function, covering planning, procurement, and logistics, to support operations based in the Middle East. This role uses deep knowledge of product support and logistics to shape service requirements and ensure reliable delivery. The position also involves aligning parts and planning needs with vendors and customers.
Qualifications
- Extensive background in supply chain and logistics leadership, with demonstrated success managing complex global operations.
- Solid expertise in demand forecasting, inventory control, capacity planning, and optimization techniques.
- Strong capability in procurement, supplier management, and contract negotiations, ideally within aerospace, aviation, or defense.
- Established leadership skills, including team development and cross-functional coordination.
- Experience in strategic planning, operational improvement, and analytics-based decision-making using supply chain systems and tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong stakeholder handling, and the ability to present to senior executives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline; a master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- Prior exposure to airline MRO or aerospace MRO environments is highly desirable.
- Must be prepared to work on-site in the Middle East and travel regionally or internationally when needed.
