Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time Vehicle Detailer working 38 hours per week across the Hendra, Geebung, and Tingalpa locations. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the fleet in immaculate condition, ensuring every vehicle is ready for rental and providing a professional experience to customers. This is a highly dynamic position requiring efficiency, attention to detail, and teamwork, with all necessary vehicle maintenance knowledge provided on the job.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicle appearance to meet SIXT's high presentation standards, ensuring pristine conditions for every customer interaction.
• Conduct thorough cleaning, inspections, and preparation of vehicles to guarantee fleet readiness.
• Collaborate effectively with the team and communicate clearly to support daily operations smoothly.
• Observe and report any safety hazards or equipment problems promptly to contribute to a safe work environment.
• Adhere strictly to company policies and compliance requirements, performing tasks with integrity and meticulous attention to detail.
• Manage priorities efficiently, handle competing tasks, and adapt seamlessly during peak periods to maintain operational flow.

Candidate Profile and Skills

• Demonstrated capability to manage time effectively in fast-paced situations, consistently achieving deadlines without sacrificing quality or compliance.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including a rotating roster that covers Mondays through Sundays, school holidays, alternate weekends, and public holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail with pride in delivering quality work.
• Previous experience in vehicle detailing or cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.

Additional Requirements

All successful candidates must complete a National Criminal History Check and undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes drug and alcohol screening. A current provisional or full driver's licence and legal work eligibility in Australia are mandatory.

• Starting wage at $29.25 per hour with additional penalty rates for shifts and monthly performance incentives.
