Role Summary

The Vehicle Valeter role involves cleaning, preparing, and maintaining vehicles to a high quality to ensure professional presentation for customers, sales, and workshop collections. This includes both interior and exterior detailing such as washing, polishing, vacuuming, and trim preparations. Adherence to health and safety guidelines, including the safe use of chemicals, is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Clean, wash, polish, and wax vehicle exteriors effectively.
• Vacuum and thoroughly clean vehicle interiors including carpets, seats, dashboards, and windows.
• Use appropriate cleaning products and valeting tools safely and efficiently.
• Prepare vehicles for customer delivery, sale, workshop handover, or collection.
• Inspect vehicles for any damage, reporting any issues to management promptly.
• Remove stickers, protective covers, and contaminants from vehicles.
• Maintain valeting equipment and work areas, replenishing consumables as needed.
• Move vehicles around the site safely if licensed and authorized.
• Maintain a high level of presentation and attention to detail in all tasks.
• Adhere to company health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with general yard and workshop tidiness and housekeeping tasks.

Working Hours

• Monday: 08:00 to 16:30
• Tuesday: 08:00 to 16:30
• Wednesday: 08:00 to 16:30
• Thursday: 07:30 to 16:00
• Friday: 07:30 to 16:00

Compensation

The position offers a pay rate of 12.71 per hour.
