UX/UI Designer

Role Overview

This part-time remote UX/UI Designer position entails crafting user-friendly and visually appealing digital solutions that align with the American Dream Event's branding and objectives. The role's daily tasks include designing interfaces for event-centric platforms, creating wireframes and interactive mockups, and polishing visual design elements consistent with brand standards.

Collaborative Responsibilities

The designer will work closely with marketing, content, and operations teams to enhance user experiences for attendees, sponsors, and partners, ensuring smooth registration processes, easy information accessibility, and engaging interaction points. The role involves collecting user feedback, refining designs iteratively, and partnering with front-end developers or technical teams to guarantee faithful execution of design specs.

Design Consistency and Accessibility

The UX/UI Designer will help establish a uniform, accessible, and captivating digital presence across web and mobile interfaces.

Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in User Experience methodologies such as user research, journey mapping, and usability-centered design.
• Strong skills in User Interface and Visual Design for producing clear, consistent, and engaging design systems and layouts.
• Proficient in developing wireframes and mockups using contemporary design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Basic knowledge of Front-End Development technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to facilitate effective collaboration with technical partners.
• Experience designing interfaces for events, marketing, or platforms, with a good understanding of responsive and accessible design standards.
• Excellent communication, collaborative skills, and the discipline to work independently in a remote, part-time capacity.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. A portfolio demonstrating relevant UX/UI projects is mandatory.
