About XTrace and the Role
XTrace is pioneering memory infrastructure specifically for AI applications—not merely chat histories or notes, but genuine persistent memory that AI agents can utilize, share, and reason about. As a UI/UX Designer on our team, you will shape the interfaces that make these innovative capabilities accessible and understandable.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft core product workflows beyond individual screens to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Translate abstract concepts such as "memory," "beliefs," and "context" into intuitive interfaces.
- Collaborate tightly with engineering teams to rapidly deliver and iterate on features.
- Break down complex systems into simple, clear user interactions.
- Take full ownership of the product experience, covering both web applications and browser extensions.
Who We're Looking For
- Excellent product intuition to distinguish critical elements from distractions.
- Ability to design from fundamental principles rather than rely on existing UI conventions.
- Comfort with ambiguity and defining novel interaction patterns.
- Ability to rapidly convert ideas into shipped user interfaces.
- A preference for clean, minimalist aesthetics over decorative designs.
Desirable Additional Skills
- Familiarity with development tools, AI-focused products, or interfaces dealing with large datasets.
- Frontend development knowledge, including technologies like React and Tailwind CSS.
