UFT Automation Tester

Role Overview

Tata Consultancy Services is hiring an experienced UFT Automation Tester for multiple Indian locations, including Mumbai, Pune, Indore, Chennai, and Bangalore. This role is suited to professionals with strong expertise in ALM Quality Center, Performance Center, UFT, and related testing ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

The position involves working on administration and end-to-end usage of ALM Quality Center SaaS, Performance Center, LRE, and LRC. The selected candidate will also contribute to upgrade and migration assignments, automation efforts, tool integrations, and CI/CD enablement across testing platforms.

Required Experience

Candidates should have 4 to 7 years of relevant experience, along with practical exposure to functional, regression, automation, and performance testing. A solid understanding of software delivery models such as waterfall and agile is expected.

Technical Requirements

The role calls for hands-on experience with UFT, strong knowledge of REST APIs, and the ability to integrate testing tools with ADO, JIRA, and other platforms. Familiarity with load testing concepts and components in Performance Center is also important.

Communication Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams.
