Position Overview

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as a Travel Assistant supporting the Comptroller Department at Fleet Readiness Center East.
- Review travel vouchers and oversee payments and local travel ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Offer guidance and training to individuals undertaking official travel, focusing on the completion of official travel documents including travel reservations (transportation and lodging), estimated travel expenses, trip authorizations, and arranging partial payments.
- Prepare and manage various reports generated from travel vouchers.
- Identify and report concerns such as potential fraud, waste, or abuse associated with travel to the appropriate authorities.
Compensation Details
The salary range for this position spans from a minimum of 45,409 to a maximum of 65,599 per year.
