Role Overview

This fully remote position as a Travel Agent allows you to set your own working hours. Responsibilities include managing comprehensive travel arrangements such as booking flights, accommodations, tours, cruises, car rentals, transfers, and travel insurance for clients.

On a weekly basis, you will consult clients to understand their travel preferences, create tailored itineraries, provide information on fare and routing options, and ensure all bookings are completed accurately and promptly. The role requires monitoring reservation systems for changes or disruptions, actively communicating updates and solutions, delivering responsive customer service, following up on inquiries, supporting travel sales, and maintaining detailed records to facilitate a smooth travel experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong customer service abilities with skills in building rapport, active listening, and offering empathetic support to travelers.
• Sales aptitude specific to travel services, including identifying clients' needs, presenting appropriate options, and closing sales consultatively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail and precision in documentation.
• Capability to work autonomously in a remote setting, effectively managing time and handling multiple client requests at once.
• Proficiency in standard office software and online communication platforms; training and support will be provided. Knowledge of international destinations and travel regulations is beneficial but not required.
• Previous experience in travel, tourism, or hospitality fields is desirable but not mandatory.
