Transport Operator

Overview

PAV Haulage Ltd is currently inviting applications for two dedicated and experienced Transport Operators to join their expanding logistics team based in London Gateway, Essex. This is a vital role within a growing haulage business where you will be responsible for the daily planning and coordination of transport activities, ensuring high standards of customer service and operational effectiveness.

Primary Duties

• Organize and manage day-to-day transport operations efficiently.
• Maintain effective communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
• Track vehicular movements and quickly address any operational challenges.
• Ensure that all deliveries are executed safely, punctually, and to required standards.
• Keep detailed records and update transport management systems accurately.
• Support adherence to relevant transport laws and internal company policies.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in a transport or logistics setting is essential.
• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
• Confident communicator capable of engaging with various stakeholders.
• Able to maintain composure and efficiency in a dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a skill for prioritizing tasks.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with transport management software is a plus.

Working Hours

• Two shifts are available: from 4:00am to 2:00pm and 8:00am to 6:00pm.

Compensation and Benefits
