Role Overview
The Transaction Advisory Services Manager is responsible for leading and managing engagements related to transaction advisory, including financial due diligence, valuations, M&A support, and restructuring. This role ensures that all client projects are delivered with exceptional quality, overseeing engagement teams while fostering strong client relationships.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate transaction advisory projects encompassing financial due diligence, valuations, feasibility analysis, M&A advisory, restructuring, and strategic financial consulting.
- Plan engagements effectively by assessing staffing needs, scheduling activities, allocating resources, and assigning tasks accordingly.
- Manage concurrent projects ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and maintenance of quality standards.
- Act as the primary liaison for clients, guaranteeing high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
- Evaluate deliverables including financial analyses, valuation models, reports, and transaction documents, providing insightful recommendations.
- Track project progress, identify critical financial risks, regulatory concerns, and ensure compliance with firm policies, engaging partners when required.
- Build and nurture productive relationships with clients, investors, financial institutions, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Encourage continuous professional development and learning within the team.
- Delegate responsibilities effectively while ensuring adherence to workplace policies and professional standards.
- Identify and cultivate new business prospects in transaction advisory and corporate finance sectors.
- Support practice growth by preparing proposals, engagement contracts, presentations, and participating in meetings and bidding processes.
- Oversee engagement financials including budgeting, billing, collections, and client account management.
- Utilize advanced expertise in financial analysis, modeling, valuation techniques, market research, and transaction structuring.
- Conduct and review financial due diligence, investment and scenario analyses, and business performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks, internal procedures, and professional standards.
- Lead preparation and review of reports, schedules, presentations, and client deliverables.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, thought leadership, and initiatives aimed at continuous improvement within the firm.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Preferred professional certifications include CPA, ACCA, CFA, CA, CMA, or equivalents.
- A minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in Transaction Advisory Services, Corporate Finance, Financial Consulting, Investment Banking, or related areas.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial due diligence, financial modeling, valuations, M&A transactions, feasibility studies, and restructuring projects.
- Proven track record in managing client engagements and leading teams within professional service or consulting environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in financial analysis.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling software.
- Knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting standards, and pertinent regulatory frameworks.
- Experience in business development and client relationship management is advantageous.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.
