Role Overview
E-gineering Inc. is hiring a Training Development & Documentation Specialist, also described as a Learning & Development Instructional Designer / Training Content Developer. The position focuses on building training and documentation assets that prepare new hires for day-one success and support ongoing operational consistency.
What You Will Create
You will be responsible for developing policy and procedure documents, training guides, onboarding resources, and readiness plans for new employees. The work includes creating materials that help teams adopt processes smoothly and understand expectations from the start.
Core Duties
- Build training programs and learning curricula from the ground up.
- Develop a wide range of provider and operations learning content such as manuals, facilitator guides, participant guides, playbooks, job aids, quick reference tools, and FAQs.
- Convert detailed operational workflows, technical documentation, and business requirements into clear material that is easy for learners to use.
- Run learning needs assessments and collaborate with subject matter experts to produce new educational resources.
- Create standardized documentation that improves onboarding, operational readiness, and process adoption.
- Use strong technical writing and content development skills to independently deliver polished documentation.
- Support work related to healthcare, payer, provider network, or government programs, which is strongly preferred.
- Develop and update policy, procedure, and process documents for new team members.
- Prepare onboarding content, training guides, FAQs, checklists, and reference tools.
- Work with operations, clinical, quality, compliance, HR, and PMO teams to define what new hires need to be ready.
- Help shape the hiring and onboarding readiness plan, including role expectations, training order, required tools, access requirements, and first-day activities.
- Document workflows, escalation steps, handoffs, and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor onboarding risks, gaps, dependencies, decisions, and unresolved items until they are closed.
- Support readiness reporting and leadership communication.
Experience and Fit
The ideal candidate has experience creating policies, procedures, training content, or onboarding documentation. Background in healthcare operations or healthcare payer environments is preferred. You should be highly organized, able to coordinate across stakeholders, and comfortable translating complex requirements into practical materials for new employees. Experience with workforce readiness, training readiness, or operational implementation is a plus. The role also requires the ability to work independently in a fast-moving and sometimes unclear environment.
