Trader Assistant – Multi-Strategy Hedge Fund

Position Overview

An internationally renowned global hedge fund expanding its footprint in the UAE seeks an experienced Trader Assistant to join its growing Dubai team. This role entails comprehensive support to a multi-asset trading desk, with responsibilities encompassing operational oversight, trade recording, profit and loss reporting and evaluation, trade booking, execution supervision, and risk reporting.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Provide crucial assistance to traders across various asset classes.
• Ensure accurate trade capture and reconciliation.
• Manage profit and loss reporting, including detailed analysis.
• Oversee execution processes to uphold trading standards.
• Generate and review risk reports to support trading decisions.
• Collaborate on projects with senior traders and global operations leadership.

Candidate Profile

Applicants should possess approximately 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in hedge fund operations, middle office roles, or as trader assistants. A strong academic background combined with project management capabilities is advantageous. Proficiency with advanced technological tools is preferred. Compensation and Benefits

This position provides a meaningful increase to the base salary alongside a substantial performance-based bonus. Earnings are tax-free, and a relocation package is available for qualifying candidates.
