Role Overview

We are seeking a Trade Finance Officer to handle comprehensive pre and post transaction processing tasks, ensuring all received documents are accurately scanned to the center of excellence (COE) within agreed service levels. The role involves maintaining excellent customer service, upholding risk management protocols according to guidelines, providing general administrative assistance, and coordinating with external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily transaction processing activities.
  • Comply strictly with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and established procedures.
  • Track and expedite outstanding or pending transactions effectively.
  • Receive and acknowledge all applications, instructions, and documents submitted at the service counter.
  • Perform end-of-day reconciliation to ensure all items received are accounted for and processed.
  • Provide backup support to colleagues when necessary.
  • Exemplify strong work ethics and foster a culture of high performance and teamwork.
  • Understand and respond to internal and external customer needs to guarantee quality service.
  • Promote and embed excellent customer service culture.
  • Initiate continuous process improvements to enhance productivity.
  • Identify potential areas for process optimization and implement improvements.
  • Manage risk proactively by identifying gaps and taking necessary mitigation steps.
  • Provide administrative support and liaise with external vendors.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in testing or quality assurance roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with trade finance and banking operations is advantageous.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and capable of working independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; general IT proficiency is beneficial.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and integrity are essential.

Additional Information

  • This is a full-time, 100% onsite position based at Tampines, Singapore.
  • Occasional work beyond regular office hours may be required depending on workload.
  • This is a fixed-term contract position ending on 30 December 2026.
