About the Role
The Territory Manager for 2-Wheeler Loans is responsible for sourcing and overseeing loan business via dealers and established channel partners. This role is centered on cultivating a robust and quality loan portfolio while strictly following internal policies and regulatory requirements. The position involves leading a team, fostering strong relationships in the market, and advancing business growth with a balanced approach that supports sales yet carefully manages risk, aligning with the bank's broader retail lending goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and manage business through dealer networks and other market channels.
- Consistently acquire new clients and maintain steady loan disbursement volumes.
- Ensure portfolio quality by minimizing late payments and application rejections.
- Oversee and assist channel partners to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Keep updated with retail asset products, operational procedures, and shifts in the market.
- Analyze market changes to develop strategies for channel expansion and customer growth.
- Strictly comply with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Suggest enhancements to sales processes and credit policies for improved operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Promote interdepartmental collaboration to facilitate smooth service delivery and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Focus on increasing business sourcing through strategic alliances and direct channels.
Qualifications and Experience
- Graduate degree required; postgraduate qualifications like MBA or PGDM are preferred.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in retail lending, specifically in 2-wheeler loans or related financing products.
