Tender Lead

About the Role

Felton Energy Services Ltd is looking for a proactive and seasoned Tender Lead based in Trans-Amadi, Port Harcourt. The candidate will lead and coordinate the creation, examination, and submission of technical and commercial bids for projects spanning oil & gas, EPC, EPCI, procurement, and engineering sectors. Collaborating closely with the Bid/Tender Manager and multifunctional teams, the Tender Lead will strive to ensure tender submissions are competitive, compliant, and of superior quality.

Primary Responsibilities

• Identify and assess tender opportunities including RFQs, RFPs, and ITTs.
• Lead the compilation and coordination of technical and commercial bids.
• Examine tender documents, scope definitions, drawings, and contract terms thoroughly.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, finance, project management, and business development departments to gather essential inputs.
• Create and manage tender schedules, bid plans, and deadlines to ensure timely submissions.
• Assemble complete tender documentation tailored to client requirements.
• Manage client communications regarding clarifications and bid-related correspondence.
• Assist with cost estimations, price evaluations, and commercial proposal preparation.
• Maintain a comprehensive tender database, tracking bids and submission statuses.
• Support smooth handover of awarded contracts to execution teams.
• Provide consistent updates and detailed reports on tender progress to the Bid/Tender Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, Project Management, or a similar field.
• Between 2 to 5 years of proven experience in tendering, bid management, proposal coordination, or roles related to commercial, procurement, or project support.
• Prior exposure to Oil & Gas, EPC, EPCI, engineering, construction, or procurement industries is preferred.
• Strong grasp of tendering processes, bid paperwork, and proposal development.
• Excellent communication abilities, robust organizational skills, and strong analytical thinking.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Capable of handling multiple deadlines and thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced work setting.
