Role Summary

The Telecaller position requires on-site presence in Bhopal and involves actively making outbound and handling inbound calls with current and prospective reporters and advertising customers. Duties include providing information about newspaper products, detailing subscription packages, gathering customer feedback, and maintaining precise documentation of communications. The role supports the circulation and advertising departments by pursuing potential leads, addressing standard customer inquiries, and escalating more complex concerns appropriately. Consistent attendance, adherence to communication scripts when necessary, and achieving call volume and conversion benchmarks are essential.

Key Qualifications

• Excellent spoken communication skills with clear phone etiquette; fluency in relevant local and national languages is necessary.
• Basic proficiency in computer use and data entry.
• Strong customer service skills including active listening, problem-solving, and conducting conversations with professionalism and respect.
• Effective time management and organizational abilities to manage call workloads, fulfill daily objectives, and maintain accurate records.
• Prior telecalling, customer service, or sales experience is advantageous but not required, welcoming applicants fresh to the field with strong communication abilities.
• Completion of high school diploma or equivalent preferred; adaptability to a high-paced, target-oriented workplace environment.
• Willingness and ability to work physically on-site in Bhopal during standard business hours, collaborating across circulation, sales, and editorial teams.
