Technology Business Analyst - Entry Level

Role Overview

This position involves examining organizational structures and designing efficient processes and systems. The role includes evaluating existing business models and their integration with technology to improve operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze organizations to design and improve processes and systems aligned with business objectives.
• Evaluate current procedures, capture customer needs, and define the desired future state or business solutions.
• Act as a subject matter expert and collaborate with teams to guide project execution.
• Collect, examine, and document business and functional requirements via stakeholder interviews, workshops, and research.
• Map existing (AS-IS) and proposed (TO-BE) business processes to highlight gaps and opportunities for enhancement.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project goals and deliverables are clearly understood and met.
• Convert business requirements into detailed user stories, use cases, and development specifications.
• Support user acceptance testing by preparing test cases and monitoring defect resolution.
• Analyze data trends to provide recommendations aiding decision-making.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
• Basic proficiency in design and build enablement, requirements gathering and analysis, business process mapping and modeling, and stakeholder management.
• Experience working with office productivity tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication abilities, and problem-solving skills.
